Portrait of a Lady Frederic Malle
The designer of the Editions de Parfums niche "fragrances without compromise" collection, Frederic Malle, is a true perfume aficionado. The Malle claims that the top ten noses in the world have created all 19 of his incredible scents to date.
Portrait of a Lady, a new edition autographed by renowned perfumer Dominique Ropion, enhances the collection in November. The perfumes Vetiver Extraordinaire, Carnal Flower, Geranium Pour Monsieur, and Une Fleur de Cassie were all created by Dominique Ropion.
The 1881 book by Henry James is the inspiration for the title Portrait of a Lady. The perfume uses spices and rose notes in a fresh, contemporary approach that alternates between oriental and chypre themes, with patchouli, which is strong and natural, taking center stage in the composition. The Victorian novel's heroine, Isabel Archer, her destiny, and her pursuit of freedom are all expressed in Portrait of a Lady, a contemporary, tasteful, and unique work. She has a strong, ethereal scent reminiscent of dark roses.
Turkish rose, raspberry, black currant, cinnamon, clove, patchouli, sandalwood, incense, ambroxan, benzoin, and white musk are among the notes of this seductive modern classic. The 50 and 100 ml bottles of Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady come with a high scent concentration of more than 50%.
